Corynn Nordstrom has worked with elementary school students for the past 6 years. She attended the Interlochen Arts Academy and holds a B.M. in clarinet performance and music education and a M.M. in music education from the University of Michigan School of Music. She is also level one certified in Kodaly and Music Learning Theory.

Mrs. Nordstrom frequently performs with local community ensembles and worked with many middle school and high school student musical productions as both vocal and pit orchestra director in Michigan. She was also the youth choir director at St. Alexander's Servant Church in Farmington Hills, MI for two years.

Mrs. Nordstrom was elected to two terms as treasurer for the Michigan Music Educators Association and served as both Videographer and Membership Chair for the Michigan Gordon Institute for Music Learning.She has presented at clinics for regional and state music conferences.


Moving back to Wisconsin has been a dream for many years, and Mrs. Nordstrom is thrilled to be teaching at Decorah Elementary School in West Bend!
